I would give 10 stars if I could. Sheri and Dr. Kumar are special. I also work in the medical field and don't always see the kind of patience and compassion these 2 showed me. They took their time, listened, and at the same time were very thorough and efficient, and very good at what they do. They explained everything very clearly and simply. They directed me to a specialist for other needs and were very fortright. I walked in for a very painful tooth and was thinking about an emergency extraction, but they gave me better advice. I live in Kingwood but I will go back to them for future needs for me and my son. I had a traumatic experience years ago with a dentist and vowed never to come back. These wonderful people made me feel seen and heard. Not very common in the rushed and profit driven medical word.

By far the BEST dentist appointment I’ve received! Deja, Dr. Sherry and Dr. Kumar were incredible. Deja took my x-rays and made me feel comfortable on the uncomfortable positions that I had to do. She took her time and wasn’t pushy or trying to rush through the process. I told Dr. Sherry that I was afraid, she assured me that she would take her time and she would make it as painless as possible. Honestly, she did beyond that by making sure that I was comfortable and even telling me to "raise my hand" if it’s too painful. Dr. Kumar was able to tell and also show me where and how we were going to take care of my teeth from here on out. He also broke down the procedure and also the expectations for my next visit. This is definitely my new home and I will be spreading the word on how amazing it was!!!

The staff is amazing! This was my first time going and my experience could not have been better! The Dr. was straight to the point of what needs to be done and made me feel safe and comfortable! My cleaning.. OMG!!!! 5 Star Status!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Let me first say, I was in PAIN in the middle of COVID19 lockdown!!! At a time when you can't find toilet paper, I definitely was not expecting to find a dentist willing to help. I knew nobody was open, but I text Sheri on her cell phone and within a few minutes she had me set up to see Dr Kumar. What I thought was going to be a situation of me having to wait in pain until post COVID19, turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Sheri got me in to see the DR within 24 hours, and he went right to work. If you've ever had a really really bad toothache, you know what real pain is and how it keeps you up all night in agony. Thank GOD for Sheri and Dr. Kumar!!!!! I highly recommend this practice!!!!

If I could put a thousand stars I would. I was in unbearable pain since Saturday & after a recommendation from a good friend of mine yesterday I reached out to the office for help. I reached out at 3:35(I know they aren't business hours, but I wasn't sleeping due to how much pain I was in) sherri reaches out to me on her way to work, that automatically made me feel so great about visiting them. Upon arrival you can feel the great vibes, it was so hard for me to continue to be upset & stressed due to the pain I was in. Sherri was at the front desk as soon as I arrived & knew it was me. I was seen in less then 15 mins & it only took that long because I was filling out new patient paperwork. They treated me with so much respect and love. I can feel the genuinely cared about me and my pain, not once did I feel uncomfortable to be honest or even physically uncomfortable. They did their best to get me an appointment for a root canal ASAP. When I mean these people are heaven sent, they are heaven sent. I'm so mad at myself for not coming them sooner, I officially found my home dentist. It's a 45 mins drive from my house & I do not care it is worth the drive, if you haven't visited this office, you need to. They will take care of you & hear you be a cry baby & yet still comfort you (yes I was a cry baby, being 30 weeks pregnant) I'm beyond words greatful for everyone I came into contact with and met today at this office, please never retire!!!!!! Sheri & dr jay you are amazing, thank you so much for everything

Coming from a person not so keen on the dentist, I love this place. Sherri is so nice and professional. The dentist himself was great as well. He took the time to show me my teeth and explain his remarks. They made sure I was comfortable. They also addressed all my concerns and gave me a treatment plan. I left with no reservations or questions. As long as I’m in Houston this will be my dentist office. I recommend a 1000%.

My husband and I had our first visit with Smile Unique this past weekend. After a terrible experience with our previous Dentist, I was hesitant of going to see another Dentist again. Sheri and Dr. Kumar were both wonder and very patient with me. They walked me thru the process of my deep clean. Sheri was very gentle. She even followed up with me the following day to see how I was doing. I didn't feel any pain after my deep cleaning. We will definitely going to make them our primary Dentist office and would highly recommend them. Thank you again so much for the best dental treatment.

I am so very happy with Smile Unique! The staff and doctor are amazing, they took their time to talk to me about my dental concerns, and they did such a great job cleaning my teeth. They also go to all out to make sure you are comfortable during your appointment. Very highly recommend! So happy I found them.

Bottom line, I am not a fan of the dentist office. With a painful, aggrivated tooth over the holidays, after a long hiatus from my last dental visit, it was time to search for another one. After a through search, I came across Smile Unique and I must admit, I wasn't disapponted! From the start, the staff at Smile Unique truly made me feel at home! Initially, I tried to get in on a Sunday and was contacted immediately by Smile Unique's office manager, Ms. Sheri. I followed up the next day making an appointment with Ms. Melaine (my apologies if incorrect!), who was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival to the office, I was greeted warmly greeted by the beautiful smile of Ms. Sheri, quickly easing some of the anxiety I held upon my visit. My consultation with with Dr. Arunkumar was well-recieved and I genuinely appreciated his expertise and recommendations. To be honestly, I felt a little embarrased considering what I was giving him to work with after 4 years, but he treated me with the uptmost respect. He kindly explained what the issue was and what his recommendations for treatment that was available to me. Patiently, he answered every question I had concerning my treatment. Far from what I experienced from other dentist office in the pass, Dr. Arunkumar never tried to push additional services on me, keeping focus on the issue at hand. Upon conclusion of my visit, I was check out by the beautiful Ms. Sheri, as she provided me with directions regarding follow up. Thank you to everyone at Smile Unique! I hope that this is a dental practice I can call "home".

On Sunday December 29, I had an emergency, my front tooth crown came off...I went online and found Smile Unique. I was greeted by a very helpful lady named Sheri who went out of her way to help me set up an appointment. Next day I met her and the rest of the staff who were friendly also. I was treated by Dr. Arunkumar, very professional and with soft touch. I did not even feel the needle as he administered the numbing medicine. My overall experience was great and plan to come back for all my dental needs. Thanks Sheri for your positive attitude, see you in January!!!

This place was absolutely amazing. I've had a chipped tooth for the past 4+ years now and have been afraid for the longest of getting it taken care of. Finally today I made the decision to go ahead and get a consultation done. The initial phone call to the office to ask about my insurance and the process was very simple and reassuring. They were able to get me in within a few hours of the call and once I got there I knew I was in good hands. Every single associate made me feel like family and were very down to earth, they all answered my questions before I could ask many of them and made sure any concerns I had were met with solutions. Didn't take long for me to decide to go ahead and move forward. Long story short, I started the procedure and got my temporary crowns immediately. So I will have my smile back before the new year. :D

First thing I want to mention is, they have the friendliest staff. Absolutely top notch. Second, I love that I can book appointments on a Saturday morning. Dr. Kumar is very professional and explains everything every step of the way. They charged precisely what my in network insurance said was covered. Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with this dental office. I will definitely be a return customer.

I give this place 5 out of 5 because of their professionalism and caring staff. I especially liked Sheri who took the time to talk to me even after they had closed. I had sent an email 10 minutes before their closing time. The next day, Sheri called me early in the morning. She was so kind and encouraging that I felt this was the right dentist for me. Once at the clinic, Dr. Kumar explained in detail the procedure I needed. Throughout the entire process, he was very patient and kind. It's been 24 hours since my visit and I feel so much better! If you ever had a toothache you know that it affects every waking hour of your life. Turns out I was working in the area when my face started to completely melt of my skull because my lower teeth started to pulse with non-stop when pain that radiate from my face straight to my brain! As it turns out I needed two route canals asap and was able to find Dr Jay Arunkumar at Smile Unique relatively easy. The doc was able to see me as soon as I came in and staff from Sheri and the other ladies working in the office were extremely nice! Everything was explained of what I needed and how much it would be without any kind of hassle or confusion. After the route canal was completed I was finally able to finally get a complete nights rest. The place is definitely is a great location if you need any kind of dentistry services.!

First time here and I felt so welcomed. I called them last minute for and emergency visit. The staff was kind enough to stay open so that I could be seen by the doctor. Best experience I have had going to the dentist. They got me in as a new patient. Making an appointment was effortless (tried two other places and couldn’t even get a call back). I was able to get an appointment within the week. The front desk receptionists were very friendly and courteous and thorough when taking my information. After I found out I needed a root canal. I was very nervous, but the team made sure I was comfortable and put me at ease. During the procedure they would ask how I was doing frequently and by the time I knew it they finished. Very impressed and pain free. The rooms are equipped with cozy chairs and tv screens. Happy to have found a place that really goes the extra mile for patients. I would highly recommend Smile Unique to all. I have to go back for more work but I know I’m in great hands!

I have been nervous about going to a dentist for years, so this was a big step for me. I've had teeth issues for years, but have been so ashamed of my teeth that I just refused to go, out of fear of being talked down to about it. Here, I did not receive any ridicule! Sheri, Tracy , and Dr. Arunkumar all made me feel like I had been coming here for years within my first visit! They were all very nice and truly caring about my needs and concerns. I went in not knowing where to start, and they began my treatment by diving into the big issue I had first, which were my wisdom teeth with exposed nerves, and had them removed that 1st visit without a bunch of rescheduling or sending me else where! I need more work done, and I will continue to come back here, aswell as recommending others to go! We need more doctors as good and honest as Dr. Arunkumar!

I came into this establishment for a nagging bottom tooth pain. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. The doctors and nurses were all extremely nice and helpful. The entire experience for me was enjoyable and pain free and I left with my mouth pain completely gone. Will definitely be coming back to Smile Unique if I ever have anymore tooth pain.

I just returned from my appointment at Smile Unique and I can’t recommend it enough! If I could give this place 6 stars I would! The establishment was super clean, modern, the staff were amazing, and the results perfect; after Dr. Arunkumar finished operating I couldn’t tell I ever chipped my tooth! Despite scheduling my appointment on short notice, unintentionally giving completely wrong insurance information and showing up nearly an hour late on an incredibly busy day, they did everything to make sure I got the treatment I needed the same day, in order to accommodate my restrictive schedule. I want to thank Sheri in particular for the unforgettable service. I inadvertently wasted countless hours of her and Molly’s time (forgive me, Molly) and added additional hours of stress with my insurance problems, both on and after work hours. Despite all this, she was so incredible, sweet, helpful, and endlessly patient, it really made me feel like family. If that wasn’t enough, my bill ended up going above my total coverage, and she waived the extra! If you are anywhere near this establishment and need any dental work done, look no further, you will not regret it! The staff here are fantastic!

OK you know how you hate to go to the dentist? This was a different experience. It was almost a joy. Jessica and Miss Sherry were professional yet fabulous and wonderful to me. Dr.K was unlike a lots of doctors ,a pro at easing my concerns. He answered my questions completely and thoroughly. What I like most about this experience was that I was not treated like a number. I did not feel like I was on an assembly line they treated me like an actual person I highly recommend them!

I chipped my tooth yesterday and needed emergent dental care. In a matter of minutes, Sheri listened to my concerns and scheduled a same day appointment for me. Dr. Kumar fixed my tooth in less than 15 minutes and answered all of my questions. I was amazed by the efficiency in both the scheduling process and the actual treatment process. I was terrified of going to the dentist due to a past experience. I found Smile Unique while doing a Google search. Amazing Team- I was experiencing pain on a Sunday morning and called them and they talked through everything with me and got me into the office within 2hrs! Once in the office they were very pleasant and professional the whole way through. Talked me through all my options and made sure I was very comfortable. The procedure was quick and painless! If I could give Smile Unique 6 stars I would. I came in experiencing serious pain and they saw me without an appointment. They quickly identified the source of my pain and dealt with it accordingly. Never did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. The expirenced staff at Smiles Unique provide a phenomenal experience.

Wow These guys are GREAT! I had just moved to the area. I broke a tooth. This is bad because I talk for a living. I was in pain, it was already late afternoon, and I started looking for a dentist near me that did not want to make me wait for an appointment. I called them and the young lady that answered the phone was very cordial and accommodating, telling me to come in 2 hours and they would get me in. When I arrived they got me in for X-rays right away and came up with a plan to fix my broken tooth. Since I did not have insurance, I needed them to also be cost effective. They came up with a plan and then fixed my tooth. The Doc was highly skilled and did an excellent job. This is my new family dentist You should consider them for your new family dentistry also. They have the latest in high tech to get fast imaging for the best diagnostics. I say, This is the place. #AmazingDocGreeneShow

Came for a cleaning and Sherri was very professional and kept me comfortable for my deep cleaning. Also when it came time for the payment she made sure that my insurance was ran correctly since I have two and that I was not being over charged.

I found this dentist office in a panic on a Sunday when I had some very extreme and sudden pain in a molar. Spoke to Sherri a few times on the phone on Sunday but I was pretty convinced I could make it through the Sunday and go in for a visit on Monday morning. Monday morning they were able to get me in first thing, assessed the tooth and got me in right away to a root canal specialist. Was so grateful to these guys for their excellent service and will be glad to use them as our family dentist going forward!

I actually had a really great regular dentist that I had gone to for years before trying out Dr. Kumar, but they were asking $3000 for a root canal and there was no way I could afford that. I was in too much pain (and my cheek was swelling) to wait until I had the money, so I reached out to Smile Unique due to their awesome reviews. I am so happy to say that I have found my new, permanent dentist! From the first moment I spoke to Sheri, I felt comfortable and listened to. It was like talking to your own mother! She got me in the next morning and the procedure cost so much less than I was quoted at my other dentist. She really took care of me and I knew I had finally found a dentist that wasn’t trying to add on additional costs or overcharge me. Dr. Kumar is the absolute BEST dentist I’ve ever come into contact with - my previous dentists were voted #1 in Houston and he blew them out of the water! He was so sincere and just a genuinely kind person. He explained everything to me while he was working, made sure I was comfortable, and did such an amazing job. I didn’t feel a thing after I was numbed (SO important to me), there was hardly any wait time at all, and his dental assistant was so sweet and attentive. I really felt like they all wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. They even offered me a blanket which I thought was so sweet! I could literally go on and on about this group, but I’ll just summarize it by saying this: If you are looking for an excellent, reasonably priced, honest dentist that isn’t trying to charge you outrageous prices, GO SEE DR. This was my first visit to this dentist and my experience was amazing. I called on Sunday with a chipped filling that was causing pain and Sheri took my request and tried to get me in as soon as possible, getting me in the next day. She was in contact even after hours (and it was Mother’s Day) and when I came in it was quick and easy. The assistant was really nice and she talked with me the whole time and let me know when she was going to take the x rays and everything. De. Kumar was also really nice and he let me know exactly what he was doing and they asked if I had any questions and were thorough with my exam and my dental health concerns. He filled my chipped filling instead of giving me a cap right away. I’ve already scheduled my cleaning with them because they were so nice for taking me on such short notice and really taking care of me and making me feel comfortable. Highly recommend them!

I’ve never liked visiting the dentist but a co-worker referred me to Smile Unique and I’m glad I went there! Dr. Kumar and his assistant were very good at explaining things to me and making me comfortable as they did the work. He offered advice on what work needed to be done but allowed me to make the final decision on how to proceed. Sheri is also very nice and helpful with explaining costs, insurance amounts, etc. She was able to schedule me in quickly and also followed up the next day to make sure I was doing ok. I called in Saturday morning to see if they could work me in Sheri was wonderful I had to have a molar removed. The entire process was explained to me by Dr. Kumar he was great removed my tooth and made me feel comfortable through the process. Definitely recommended they are very professional and courteous.

These guys are great. I felt very welcomed by Sheri, at the front desk, and the sign in process was quick and easy. I came in with a cracked molar and was expecting the worst - yet both the head dentist and the assistant were very good at explaining what was happening with my tooth, what they were going to do to fix it, and explaining what to expect. The dental work took less time than I expected and they did a great job...I feel much better. Highly recommended

Needless to say, visiting the dentist has never been a favorite pastime of my kiddos ... but that's officially changed!! They absolutely loved both Dr. Kumar and Sherri and we're so happy to have found them!

I was there on Saturday close to closing time about a broken tooth. Sheri and Dr Kumar stayed late to the root canal and made me feel so special. I will definitely continue to have my dental work done with Dr Kumar and his staff.

I'm not usually a fan of medical places found in strip centers, but Sheri, the dental hygienist, makes you feel like your at home when you walk in. Tina (I'm guess she's called a technician) was very professional and good at her work, and Sheri definitely knows what she's doing. The dentist took a look at my x-rays (I was concerned I had a cavity) and had a lot of good knowledge, explaining that my soreness is from inflammation caused by too much flossing (you don't hear dentists say THAT often) and that my teeth and gums were very healthy. Also, even though I came in with a special coupon for exam, x-ray, and cleaning, they never tried to upsell me or anything of that sort. Anyhow, 5 stars, two-thumbs up, standing ovation and the works.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience with Dr. Kumar and Sheri was amazing! Let me start by saying that I am terrified of Dentists, so I avoid going at all costs. I cracked one of my upper molars and was starting to have terrible pain, which was interrupting my sleep. My first contact was with Sheri, and she was so caring and nurturing, made me feel very comfortable every step of the process. They were able to get me in quickly, and even though my process took most of the day - they completely solved my issue and I feel 100pct better! Dr. Kumar was so gentle and just a real caring person ( and funny too!! ). If I could give more than 5 stars for them I would, thank you all for helping me through this process and actually making it bearable.

I can't say enough good things about smile unique. My background - I'm Scottish and after many bad experiences, I've been left terrified of the dentist. I moved to Houston a few years ago but I couldn't pluck up the courage to find a dentist. I first called smile unique on a Sunday afternoon as I had awful toothache. Sheri was so helpful and understanding and tried to fit me in that day but my personal circumstances didn't allow it (I have a very young baby) However, Sheri fitted me in for the first appointment the next morning. Before my appointment, Sheri was in constant contact with me asking how I was feeling - she didn't need to do this but this just shows how much of a kind person she is. I went in the next morning and I instantly felt at ease. Sheri knew how nervous I was and she was very caring towards me while doing the x-rays etc. I then met Dr. Kumar who was also very caring and understanding and explained the procedure in great detail. They were both very patient with me and stopped at regular intervals when I needed a break. It was obvious in the short time that I was at smile unique that a lot of respect exists between Sheri and Dr. Kumar. Their personalities bounce off each other well and this meant that I felt very comfortable while there. Special thanks to Sheri for being so compassionate towards me - it really does make a massive difference when you are so terrified! Thanks Smile Unique!

My experience with Smile Unique was great. The customer service was great and they were accommodating. They took the time to explain to me what is going on and the next steps. They didn't obligate me to do any of the recommendations unlike other dental clinic. Sheri is the dental hygienist and she was great with the patient. She's very sweet and knowledgeable. Man, am I glad I found this place. After having multiple bad experiences at various dentists I'm reassured my teeth aren't going to just rot out. This Sunday I was in pain that was almost unbearable and they stayed open to see me and not only did they help manage my pain they were able to see things previous dentists could not (he's just that good) and they were able to give me the referral I needed to also see a specialist. Kumar and Sheri have such a relaxing vibe about them and they won't give you the run around. Absolutely amazing people here. 10/10 would recommend and I'll definitely be returning for my dental health.

Sheri is amazing and very funny. She is the front desk manager & also the hygienist. I went in for a teeth cleaning package using a groupon deal. I thought I was going to get some hurried job since I was paying less than half the actual price of the package but I was pleasantly surprised. Sheri patiently & thorougly cleaned my teeth and I am leaving a happy happy customer. Even though I spoke with the doc for just a few minutes during the exam, he is very courteous and knowledgeable. I'm one of those patients that dentists usually scare off, either with a lecture or with pain. I received neither at this office. The entire staff took into consideration my confession of not going to a dentist because from the very beginning of my experiences with dentists, I have had nightmarish experiences...being told I didn't know what I was feeling when the dentist began work on me before I was numb...that magic little pill never works...or a lecture on dental hygiene with a sermon that would make the Bakkers proud. I would recommend this team to anyone who dreads a visit for cleaning or that dreaded root canal...I might even have to come back after I move!

I went to Smile Clinique to get multiple fillings. I was very nervous, but Dr. Arunkumar and his excellent staff took very good care of me. This is by far the best dental office I have ever used. For someone who has always had high anxiety when having to visit the dentist I can truly say I actually look forward to my visits (had a procedure that required more than one to complete) with them. Mae is a beautiful presence that greets you when you walk in and makes you feel as if you are family. She is quick, thorough and ready to assist with the business side of your visit. When I initially called it was an emergency and she got me an appointment quickly and was patient in working with me as I had just gotten new insurance and was having some difficulty retrieving the details she needed. Sherrie, their hygienist, is never without a huge smile on her face and quite honestly kept me laughing with her great sense of humor did my cleaning so thoroughly and quickly. They use the latest in technology in their equipment which I really liked. Dawn, also, was wonderful as she was the first to get me set up to start the process of my root canal and dealing with a broken tooth. She was very gentle and made sure to ask questions to assess my situation first in order to not cause pain in the area that was affected. Dr. Arunkumar or Doc Kumar as most call him is amazing as well. It is obvious he is very knowledgeable and quickly assessed exactly what needed to happen to fix my problem. He also, as the rest of his team, was very personable and has a great chair side manner. This is the first time ever I can say that I actually enjoyed my visit to the dentist and it was due to the wonderful team that give the best service ever from start to finish of your visit and truly make you feel that they are glad you are there.

The entire staff is so professional. The dental work is great! It's good when you can walk away from the Dentist office with a smile. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. It's like being with the family! My husband and I and the children and grandchildren all go!

Great dentist and great staff...they make u feel at home and are very friendly and explain everything to you step by step. I will be going there for now on and i will be taking my family there as well for now on.

BEST DENTIST OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restrooms and the entire office was very clean, there was hardly no wait time! I filled out a few documents and Dr. Kumar was ready for me! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I got a root canal done and two crowns and was out of the chair in 2 hours, and I didn't feel a thing! He even called me the next morning to see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend anyone to smile Clinique!

I went in for teeth cleaning Ms.Mae (the receptionist) was great made the sign in process easy and seamless the staff is great and Dr.Kumar was very gentle with my sensitive teeth!

The staff is very friendly! I hate going to three dentist but they make it Soooo easy.... All of staff including the Dr are very down to earth. Sherri the hygienist was very gental. Dawn assisted Dr Jay with my root canal by the way didn't have much pain. The next day Terry have me a follow up call to see how I was doing. Love them! Ms Mae is awesome as well and worked with me so that I could get my dental work done.

Great professional dental service. Everyone is always very nice. We Like going to their office because, it's like going into a friends living room. We like it's not sterile feeling, but warm and friendly yet professional.

Jay is a great dentist! Affordable, attentive, polite and understanding! The office makes you feel comfortable and does not ridicule you when your teeth are not perfect however they are still very informative on how to take better care of your teeth. Very nice a clean facility!
